INTRODUCTION
Record labels control the music industry and radio with what they call ‘commerciality.’ As a result, everything sounding similar or identical on the radio controls competition, among other things. Anything genuinely innovative, creative, and commercial is blacklisted. TAXI Music’s “professional” song critics are narrow-minded and elitist and benefit themselves and the music industry.
TAXI A&R uses its simpleton expertise in song structure and music theory to prevent material from being passed on to record labels, making them one of many perfect vetting agencies. Gays can marry, and females can parade around in public half-nude. Yet, TAXI has the gall to talk about conventionality in music production and composition.
TAXI Music critiqued eight Ground Zero tracks, and four I submitted for record label requests. If You Promise is one of the eight Ground Zero songs.
"If record label superstars are really SUPERSTARS, why do the labels fear competition so much the must resort to cheating and illegal capitalist practices."

CASE TWO: If You Promise
Click the document below to read the TAXI critique. Then listen to the If You Promise track submitted to TAXI A&R in February of 2023.
TAXI’S If You Promise seductive review is similar to 2013 Lunatic in Motion review.
The TAXI A&R builds the artists with flattery, then shoots them back down with subjective perception without considering personal production and composition styles.
The A&R reviewer mentions that If You Promise’s production is close to what’s on the radio, which is really bad in my professional, purely objective opinion. Several other critical TAXI reviews harped on old or outdated instruments.
Yet, again, I use all modern gear. However, I don’t use the same shit that appears in every Drill, Trap, Pop, or R&B song. Instead, I’ll take a trap snare that’s popular and played out, like THIS, and manipulate it. That Trap snare is nearly thirteen years old (that’s when I bought it), yet it is still used, especially when trying to make a track hardcore, as I’ve seen even in pop music!
The TAXI A&R continues hanging themself by claiming they enjoyed If You Promise “overall.” But then subjectively nitpicks the song, even going so far as to say the listener may not understand that I’m talking about a person who desires reconciliation but doesn’t want to be bothered with arguing and refusing to listen!
Another TAXI A&R gripe was the vocals were out of tune, and the key was off. Firstly, if the vocals were out of tune, no other reviewer mentioned the vocals being off, including a civilian audience of thousands. More importantly, I mistakenly added the vocal key instead of the song’s key when I submitted If You Promise.
I stopped submitting music to TAXI in 2013 because they make suggestions. But when you return and resubmit, the song still isn’t up to TAXI’S Harvard specifications which benefits TAXI!
James Brown’s band was griping about Brown straying from strict, college-educated music theory. But Brown perfectly summed up the matter while silencing his band when he said, “Can you feel (the music)! Well, if you can feel it, ain’t nothing wrong!”
"Don't believe the hype! Most of your favorite pop divas and dicks vocals are pitched corrected. Whether it's a night of popping mollies or adjusting to hangovers, there's bound to be vocal flaws unless you're Celine Deon!"

MUSIC BUSINESS PIMPS AND HO:
Like their record label pimps, TAXI Music A&R obviously doesn’t perform test marketing research. Instead, TAXI probably prefers buying into the hyped stats platforms like Spotify appears to provide. But test marketing and research are irrelevant if you control radio stations and streaming platforms. In that case, you can peddle whatever kind of shit you want, which is painfully apparent by what’s ‘popular.’
Record labels have been accused of manipulating Spotify’s algorithms, and if so, Spotify is complicit. You’ll notice that major label artists’ Spotify account comes with a unique title of certified artists (or something like that). Undoubtedly, the AI algorithm recognizes that distinctive and privileged title.
I understand fully now what commercial means; generic copycat artists and productions. For example, the female singing COFFINS mimicked another singer who started that vocal style (I believe she’s Scottish) a decade or so ago. Yet, I’ve heard that exact vocal fashion copied in movie soundtracks and TOP-40 radio.
There are countless Rihanna singing parrots on the radio and in movies and streaming series. Therefore, anything commercial but unique is eliminated, proving capitalism eliminates competition! It’s easier for record labels to pimp and control the market if everything is generic, or should I say, commercial.
Part of ensnaring TAXI was providing links to The Exorcists and Ground Zero project BIOS and BTG and SOG bios. Read the Exorcist Ground Zero project bio. You’ll understand why TAXI Music critics tried to undermine my confidence, calling the productions “old,” or “dated.” It
didn’t take much to figure out that at least one of the 2023 TAXI A&R
critics critiqued my music in 2013, the critic harping on old-sounding synths.
FACTS vs. OPINIONS:
TAXI further underestimated that I wouldn’t refute their critiques since there is no way to respond, allowing them to fully control the critique process and outcome. So I sent TAXI THIS EMAIL and THIS THIS EMAIL, renouncing their lopsided, cherry-picking reviews!
Everybody has their opinions. This post isn’t about subjective perception but about facts and proof. I don’t like lots of artists, but I will credit them for releasing a good song. But the facts in this story point to something amiss with TAXI Music Group and its critique process.
If you want to know how the music business really works and how to beat the system, we will demonstrate how with plenty future content!
