Controlled Generic Supply Destroys the Demand

Controlled Generic Supply Destroys the Demand

INTRODUCTION:

The ORACLE accompanying this post reveals what’s wrong with the music industry and why it needs a serious makeover to bring out the Neanderthal 20th Century! I was wrapping up research for our business plan. The investment is already guaranteed. However, our investors want to put our business acumen, which we’ve already proven, to one more test.

The part of the plan I’m working on details how the music industry lies and cheats to cast the illusion that has-been artists are still trendy. But good ole Gabe assured me the data I’m collecting would also add more nails in TAXI’S coffin when we start litigation proceedings since TAXI tried to use some of these artists we’re researching to undermine my confidence, which failed miserably!

OLD-HEAD ARTISTS AREN’T CONTEMPORARY, MF’er!

Interestingly, when I Googled CONTEMPORARY POP male and female artists, ALL THE SUGGESTIONS CAME BACK as OLD ARTISTS. There were very few artists younger than 33 years old! Bruno Mars is pushing 40, and TAXI and those two big, weak-ass record labels were trying to call me OLD? Bruno Mars looks OLDER THAN I DO! There aren’t many mainstream artists between 18-25 years old!

Ed Sheeran has already released a greatest hits collection? Greatest Hits means you’re close to extinction! If you peep Ed Sheeran’s Twitter page, you can tell something is wrong from the grossly disparate number of fans interacting to the number of followers.

On the other hand, Bruno Mars and The Weekend range on average from 9k+ to 30k+ followers interacting (retweet, blah, blah, blah)! But 30k+ is a tiny drop in the 17mil-24mil people supposedly following Mars and Weekend! The compiled figures of social media hogwash will demonstrate, along with contemporary artists ages 30-37, how the music business carefully controls the market with illegal monopoly practices!

When I Googled contemporary artists, I expected to see ages 18-25 and new artists I’ve never heard of, not played-out artists ten to fifteen years old (in the market)!

THE INDUSTRY ISN’T PERFORMING MARKETING RESEARCH:

My research is intended to prove that record labels can’t be performing marketing research, which is probably why they’re not making money! But, unfortunately, like many corporations, most record labels’ marketing research and plan is comprised of sticking the same old s— in your face and demanding you buy it!!!!

Record labels own the radiowaves, Spotify, etc., because controlling the airwaves is one of the only ways record labels can make their money and is one primary reason you hear the same s— in rotation! With a solid promotional campaign, you don’t need the radio, just the internet, engaging presentations, and social media promotion.

CONTROLLING SUPPLY AND DEMAND:

I Heart Media illegally blocked our radio ad campaign because they (and their record label buddies) knew that our engaging ads and fresh sound would spread like wildfire! So, spare me your “Capitalism is the greatest” bulls— because Capitalism is how the big bullies control everything!

During my research, I encountered tired YouTube influencers who claimed that record labels don’t release full albums because they use singles to test new artists ‘marketability!’ The truth is that record labels can’t compile an entire project of singles because everything is so generic

 GENERIC RECORDING ARTISTS 101:

Generic? For example, a female from Scotland started a unique singing style like the female in this song called Coffins. I love Coffins because it reminds me of being a teenager going to the mall, the beach, or visiting relatives in LA or Miami as summer kicks off! It should be unlawful for someone to start a trend or style and have a bunch of generic frauds biting what you do!

Nearly every project we’ve released is chocked full of releasable singles! TAXI and its record label buddies tried to reduce me to one of their superstar talents, expecting the move would undermine my confidence and force me to give up some of my music!

Moreover, those same record labels rejected songs I submitted, trying to play the same undermine-the-confidence psyche-tactics (then had the nerve to demand I hand over my hard work, TFOH)!

The other thing I noticed is that most of those male contemporary pop figures are either gay, weird, or not even American, which that’s all cool! But spare me the patriotic bulls—!
